Heey Vrije Bonders,
Dit jaar is er ook een anarchistisch zomerkamp in aanloop naar het Vrije Bond congres. Op 16 en 17 augustus komen we samen op de camping in Appelscha om samen nieuwe skills op te bouwen.
Tijdens het zomerkamp focussen we ons op teambuilding en praktische skills om ons activisme en onze acties naar een volgend level te brengen. Het programma zal vooral draaien om groepsactiviteiten en teambuilding. Dit zal voornamelijk in de vorm van sport en spel zijn. Er zal vooral ook gericht worden om mensen skills aan te leren in groepsverband en niet alleen als individuen. Ook het kweken van een groepsgevoel is belangrijk. Daarom zal er op het programma op het anarchistische zomerkamp een gezamenlijke activiteit tegelijkertijd zijn, gaan we samen opbouwen, afbouwen, eten koken en eten en ook samen opstaan om de dag goed te beginnen.
Het programma heeft veel onderdelen met intensieve fysieke activiteiten. Op het anarchistisch zomerkamp gaan we samen praktische skills leren en hoe deze tactisch toe te passen. Samen zorgen we voor een gezellig kamp vol met skillshares en activiteiten. Denk aan hoe als groep op een demo te lopen, zelfverdediging als groep, verover de vlag en nog veel meer leuke activiteiten! Er zal zelfs een stormbaan met anarchistische draai zijn.
Dinsdag ben je al welkom op de camping en woensdagochtend gaan we van start. Een volledig programma zal later nog worden gedeeld. Wel kunnen we al zeggen dat de officiële start op woensdagochtend zal zijn. Op woensdag en donderdag is er overdag een goedgevuld programma met allerlei workshops en trainingen. In de avond is er ruimte voor discussie, kletsen en muziek. Op vrijdagochtend hebben we een afsluiting van het zomerkamp en daarna kunnen we helpen bij de opbouw van het congres.
Meer dan genoeg om naar uit te kijken. Dus neem je tentje, sportkleren en je kameraden mee!

Hey Vrije Bond people,
This year there will be an anarchist summer camp in the run up to the Vrije Bond congress. On August 16 and 17 we will gather at the camping in Appelscha to learn new skills together.
During the anarchist summer camp we will focus on team building and learning practical skills to bring our actions and activism to the next level. The program will resolve around group activities and team building. We will do this mostly through sports and games. We will also work on learning to use our new skills as groups, rather than just as individuals. For this creating a collective spirit is also important. Because of this the anarchist summer camp will have one communal activity at a time. We will also set up and break down the camp together, as well as do all other things together like cooking, eating and waking up together to start the day fresh.
The program has many activities that are physically intensive. At the anarchist summer camp we will learn practical skills and how to apply these in tactical ways. Together we will create a fun summer camp full with skill shares and activities. Think about things like how to walk as a group a a demonstration, self defense as a group, games like capture the flag and much more fun activities. There will even be an obstacle course with an anarchist twist.
From Tuesday people will be welcome at the camping and on Wednesday morning the summer camp will start. A full program will be shared later. However, we can already say that the official start will be on Wednesday morning. On Wednesday and Thursday there will be a full program with all kinds of workshops and skill shares. In the evening there will be room for discussion, chatting and music. On Friday morning we will close the summer camp and afterwards we can help with setting up everything for the Vrije Bond Congress.
More than enough to look forward to. So bring your tent, sports clothes and comrades with you to the anarchist summer camp!
