De Vrije Bond Amsterdam organiseert komende zondag op 24 november een filmavond in de Nieuwland (Pieter Nieuwlandstraat 95). Er is eten om 18.30 en de film begint om 20.00. Deze keer gaan we naar de documentaire Gaza fights for freedom van de Empire Files kijken. Het revolutionaire duo Abby Martin en Mike Prysner produceert al jarenlang op hoog niveau anti-imperialistische korte films, verslagen en onderzoeken, en zij hebben zich recent toegelegd op een volle documentaire over de onderdrukking van Palestijnen in Gaza. Een film waar wij allemaal naar uitkeken..
In samenwerking met de Palestijnse vrijheidsbeweging geeft Martin een indrukwekkende weergave van het geweld, de misdaden en de genocidale neigingen van het Israëlische regime. Het is een film die woede en verdriet oproept, maar ook iedereen zou moeten inspireren om in opstand te komen tegen de verschrikkelijke omstandigheden in Gaza. Met deze film laat Martin zien wat het werkelijke verhaal van het Midden-Oosten is, vrij van alle imperialistische propaganda. Gaza fights for freedom laat zo zien waar de werkelijke onderdrukking in de wereld vandaan komt en wie daar het slachtoffer van zijn.

The Vrije Bond Amsterdam is hosting a film night coming Sunday on November 24 at the Nieuwland (Pieter Nieuwlandstraat 95). There will be a collective dinner at 18.30 and we will start the movie at 20.00. This time we are watching the documentary Gaza fights for freedom by the Empire Files. The revolutionary duo consisting of Abby Martin and Mike Prysner has been producing high quality anti-imperialist films, reports and investigations and they recently focused on their first feature-length documentary about the repression of Palestinians in Gaza. A film we have all been waiting for.
In association with the Palestinian freedom movement, Martin has given an impressive show of the violence, crimes and genocidal tendencies of the Israeli regime. It is a film that we cause anger and sadness, but will also inspire to fight the terrible conditions in Gaza. With this film, Martin tells the real story of the Middle East is, free from imperialist propaganda. Gaza fights for freedom shows where the repression of the world is really coming from and who is hurt by this.
